Please include your Comments...

So, you've hit your head upon the nearest table corner and are suffering from selective amnesia. Or you've been so paranoid and have changed your admin password more than you've changed your shirt. It was inevitable that you would forget the administrator password. Chances are that you haven't really helped yourself and created either a Password Hint, a Password Reset Disk or another Administrator-privileges enabled account.

Do not despair. All is not lost, and you may still be able to bring things back to normal without a reinstall. However, once you're done with this HOWTO, please create a password reset disk in Windows XP and store it in a safe place and save yourself a world of trouble.

Tool #1: Offline NT Password and Registry Editor:

Get it here:

Bootable floppy:
http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/bd041205.zip

Bootable CD:
http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/cd041205.zip

and then boot the computer off it. It will detect and offer to unlock locked or disabled out user accounts but be warned,
that if you've encrypted user data, you may end up corrupting it if you've used EFS.

Tool #2: Austrumi

Austrumi is a Linux bootable ISO image for recovering NT passwords and other cool tools and methods, sized for Business Card size CD media (50Mb). It allows you to change any password, including that of the Administrator, on a partition occupied by Windows NT, Windows 2000 or Windows XP. Simply boot the CD and when you get to the initial boot prompt, type:

boot: nt_pass

This will launch a console utility that will detect Windows partitions on the hard disk and provide you with a menu to modify any user or Administrator passwords on the Windows system. It will even give access to the Windows registry for recovery purposes. Quite a handy utility to keep in your wallet (AUSTRUMI is small enough to fit on a business card-size CD) if you are unfortunate enough to having to deal with Windows machines in your line of work.

Download the files you need here:

Tool #3: XP Password Recovery:

This site provides a tool to recover lost Windows XP passwords. It works for administrator accounts, it doesn't change the password just tells you the old one. It works with encrypted files (EFS) and password hashes. It even works if no passwords at all are known for the machine (as long as you have another computer with internet access to view this website with). It does not work if the password has symbols or spaces in.

Author (Oliver Mattos) claims it also works with Windows NT and Windows Server 2003 and Windows Longhorn, but the BEST thing about it is the fact that it won't reset your passwords, but simply reveal them for you to remember and then use.

Give it a try. The author would like to receive feedbacks for debugging and troubleshooting purposes.

Note: You'll need a blank floppy to run the process, and it will take anywhere between a few minutes to a few hours for the scan to complete.

This is the first time I am talking about money in this blog.. Money.. Money.. Well, you don't get for free of course you need to work for at least 30 minutes per day, that's more than enough for an blogger, with this brief introduction can go into adsense.. Oops! I just forgot to mention the basic need for this adsense program is you need to have a Webpage or Blog any thing will do the same one.., Now let's get cracking...

Free Money Free Money...

To begin with let me ask you some question how does a newspaper like 'The Hindu' get money, well or how does a tv channel like Sun TV get money.. Just leave that how does a big giant like Yahoo! makes money, well ofcourse ads, and now you are going to get money from ads. Well now how does it work ? It just involves an application and a review procedure; Basically what you need to do is construct a good Blog or a Website, submit an application form to Google; Google reviews your application and your web presence and voila if they approve your application you are a adsense customer.

Basic Steps :

Here's the step by step guide to get your hand on dollars,

- Go to http://adsense.google.com.
- Click on Sign Up and fill in the application form.
- Conform you e-mail address.
- Wait for 1-2 days until google approves your request.
- Log in to your adsense account
- Click on 'Adsense for Content' Tab. There is also an option of "Adsense for Search" which follows the same procedure.
- Click on "Ad Colours" tab and select the layout for the ads.
- Copy paste the HTML code from the "Ad Layout Code" tab into your website's template.
- Happy Faces!!! ads on your web site!

How does Adsense Works ?

Google claims that Adsense can grasp the theme of your content and deliver ads according to your content. For example if you do a blog which contains articles such as related to software, then you get ads related to software.  When any reader click on the ads you get paid by google, and more and more the reader click more and more ads you get more and more money.. Funny Huh!, Seriously speaking if you click on your own ads will it count, and this is a real thing to be considered for.  Basically the answer is no.  There are tons and tons of people who are caught by law for click fraud.  Google traces such fraud parties.  Google themselves gives a disclaimer that you can't click your own ads, when you sign up for Adsense.

Also there is a bunch of activities that you can't do you cannot have ads posted on a website that has any pornographic content, you can't place google ads on any crack, warez websites.  So how much can you earn with Adsense, this fully depends on how many visitors you have for your website, the more the people more chances they might click on the ads.  And regarding payments google will pay you when you balance reaches 100 USD, they will pay to you via Check, Paypal.

Adsense for Blogger:

Here are the steps to be followed :

- Sign in to your Blogger account
- On you blog's dashboard, click on Templates.
- Choose Add a Page Element, and then select Adsense
- The rest is pretty much right there for you to see and and do..
Select the "ad format" that you prefer, that is , the ad size on your blog, and then select the       colours you'd like the ads to have.
- Click on 'Save'.

So, if you are clean and ofcourse popular, you can be assured of some extra montly pocket money. Good Luck, Friends....

Time's Up Friends to Switch over to a new Browser
...............................................................................

And well this time as I have promised I went to review Safari Browser, before writing this article I went across some tips and tricks published by digit Magazine on Safari Browser, needless to say I am using safari browser full time but I am not biased for just supporting Safari for all its features, but you should believe safari is not the best browser available - lets stay off the pros and cons lets get into the review - Let's Start of with some History and Features..,

HISTORY :

Once upon a time, Oops!!! Sorry Folks - Here's the genuine one - Safari is a web browser developed by Apple ( ya, the company famous for iPhone and iPod ) - It is the default browser in Mac OS X, It was released under public beta on Jan 7, 2003 for Mac Operating System and for Windows it was released on Jun 11, 2007 - Both Widows XP and Vista are supported and to note Safari is also the default browser in iPhone and iPod Touch ( No prizes for guessing that ! )

LIST OF FEATURES :

Safari offers most of the features that other browser in the earth offers us, and for the notable here are a few :

- Tabbed Browsing ( Can't live without that...)
- In build Search Bar.
- Bookmark Manager.
- Polished Environment.
- Pop-Up ad blocking.
- Spell Checking.
- Automatic Filling of Web Forms.
- Built-in Password Management.
- Integration of Apple's Quick Time Player Technologies.
- Better way towards Feeds.

.......are to mention a few of the many features of Safari Browser, now get into the real time review of the Safari Browser..

REVIEW :

Just to mention safari for windows is faster in terms of speed, and provides the cool and fresh environment for the browser, both for XP and Vista - it's great for sure, but the question that remains is how many add-ons are for Safari Browser and I am sorry to answer this question as there are null for now, I you need the power of add-ons you should be an avid fan of FireFox is great for add-ons; Officially I see the wings of Safari for Windows is spreading across the globe as I can see it from every popular Forums across the Web, and I too have requested my friends to use Safari. The first thing that can impress you can be the environment as we have discussed earlier, and again speaking the bookmarks bar is of great use it's simply great and greater - But regarding network connections it uses the default windows connections unlike FireFox or Opera, ( Edit ->Preferences ) ; And there is one thing that is not available in other browsers and is known as the Private Browsing, which means when you are in Private Browsing Mode, the address you are typing in the address bar, Passwords, Username will not be stored in History - A good tool when you are using public or your friends computer - You can toggle between the mode using Edit -> Private Browsing. All other commands are similar to Internet Explorer and other major Browsers.., A sure check it out browser for you, as usual leave back your comment below, the next time I will come up with even more interesting articles.. Have a NICE DAY dudes...
